Just an update, took Joe's 91 year old mom to the cabin this week-end. Even though it tired her she thoroughly enjoyed herself. We just waited on her hand and foot, including giving her a pedicure and manicure. She was her gracious self and accepted all of our ministries with a few tears of thankfulness. She really enjoyed the fresh mountain air as you can see by this photo, we couldn't talk her into coming back into the house until she was darn good and ready. She slept 10-12 hours each night. We had to come home early due to our water pump went out, needs replacement, but it has given me a day to finish my painting of the bathroom, paper work, see my boy off to Portland (helping a friend move) and to place my thoughts and prayers today with Mackie as she begins her Senior Year at BU. I also get the privilege of mowing the lawn, never knew how much we would miss Denny(our lawn man) since his hospitalization. Our prayers are with him also. He will not be returning and we are in hot pursuit for someone else to do this job next year. We will finish out this season though, because the exercise is good for us. I have been riding Mom's old Huffy Cruiser to work everyday and loving it. I now have a basket, horn, and flashers for evening riding. I have even changed my first tire with some telephone coaxing from James. I haven't had to purchase gas in over a month. Joe is busy with some new adoptions and keeps busy in general with all types of other projects. Here is to fall and the cooler weather. Will get some new pictures of Megan and Suzie's pumpkins posted soon.
